Prepare:

Ask yourself–

  • What are my symptoms?
  • Am I experiencing signs of an infection?

Have your Internist or Referring Physician order an MRI of the affected area for you to bring to your appointment.  Although X-rays and CT Scans may be suggestive of infection, an MRI will reveal air changes in the disc and possibly even external involvement in the bone or epidural regions.
